Your use of the Site and attendance of the Melbourne Cabaret Festival events is subject to these Terms and Conditions and any other terms, conditions or guidelines set out elsewhere on the Site, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
Melbourne Cabaret Limited (ACN 156 232 021) is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected based on the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 and subsequent Privacy Amendment Act 2001. Please refer to the Schedule of this document for our Privacy Policy.

Our goal is to make your purchasing experience easy, efficient and equitable. The following purchase policies are designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of our purchase process. Each ticket that you purchase is a license to attend a particular event, and is subject to any additional terms set forth on that ticket.
7.1. Ticketing and Attendance
Melbourne Cabaret Limited does not directly sell tickets to events. Tickets to events are sold through the operator of the hosting venue and their ticketing providers.
Melbourne Cabaret Limited provides website links to these venues for the purpose of purchasing tickets. At the point of being directed to these websites, you, as a purchaser, will be subject to the terms and conditions of that respective website and its relevant ticketing policy. Melbourne Cabaret Limited has no liability in relation to the selling and purchasing of tickets.
Subject to rights that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, which are not excluded, modified or restricted by this provision, Melbourne Cabaret Limited’s liability for the breach of any condition or warranty, whether express or implied (other than warranties or conditions in relation to title, encumbrances and quiet possession) is limited by Melbourne Cabaret Limited to a refund of the cost of your ticket.
7.2. Licence; Ejection and Cancellation; No Redemption Value
We reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language or who fails to comply with our reasonable requests. Breach of our terms will terminate your license to attend the event without refund. A ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused upon refunding the ticket’s face amount.
7.3. Recording, Transmission and Exhibition
You agree not to record or transmit, or aid in recording or transmitting, any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event. You grant permission to utilise your image, likeness, actions and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during or after the performance) in any medium or context without further authorisation or compensation.
7.4. General Admission
It is important that patrons purchasing tickets understand that our performances in most Festival venues are for general admission events. Lost, stolen or destroyed tickets for these events will NOT be replaced under any circumstances.
8. Governing Law
The Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the State of Victoria. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
9. Severability
If any provision of the Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision will be stricken and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.
10. Permitted Use
You agree that you are only authorised to visit, view and to retain a copy of pages of this Site for your own personal use, and that you shall not duplicate, download, publish, modify or otherwise distribute the material on this Site for any purpose other than to review event and promotional information, for personal use, or to purchase tickets or merchandise. You also agree not to deep-link to the site for any purpose, unless specifically authorised by us to do so. The content and software on this Site is the property of the Melbourne Cabaret Festival and/or its suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.
